The coming year brings exciting new opportunities for ARENA DANCES to achieve this goal. From DanceON, a brand new educational outreach program, launched by ARENA DANCES, which will teach K-12 students about choreography and how to talk about dance, to planning for a multi-city Minnesota tour with support from the Minnesota State Arts Board tour grant, we will tap into the power of art to inspire people of all ages and backgrounds and provide some respite from the world.
This spring, ARENA will return to The Southern Theater to perform Picturing That Day/Candy Box. As part of the spring engagement I will be, for the first time, curating other dance artists for Salon-style performances and public showings alongside ARENA DANCES work. This is an exciting new endeavor – It’s like picking my favorite candy out of an amazing assortment!
From start to finish, onstage and off, there are many costs to funding a season. Here is what your contribution will support:
